When you stop to reflect upon this discrepancy between what we believe in our “scientific” moments, so to speak—when we consciously accept the teaching of our scientific pundits—and what we believe the rest of the time, it is staggering to reflect upon the utter contradiction between these two views. Now, let me just say without a moment’s further delay that if we were to fully believe what the scientists are telling us—supposedly on solid scientific grounds—we would be utterly dehumanized.
