When you stop to reflect upon this discrepancy between what we believe in our “scientific” moments, so to speak — when we consciously accept the teaching of our scientific pundits — and what we believe the rest of the time, it is staggering to reflect upon the utter contradiction between these two views. Now, let me just say without a moment’s further delay that if we were to fully believe what the scientists are telling us — supposedly on solid scientific grounds — we would be utterly dehumanized.
